Rabbits Resplendent ears and tails, rodent-like; but unlike rats or mice, they are loved. Renowned for Easter, they're rumored to lay eggs; while rural hares, their cousins, routinely grace menus. (Pleiades) 4/15/2021 Pleiades R Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Kim Merryman

A wonderful poem, Emile. We enjoy them so much in our backyard, they like the suet and wild bird food too! A beautiful description of rabbits. Congratulations for your excellent win. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan
