Rabbit Ears
Rabbit Ear's
Belong on Rabbits
By: Tom Wright
8/19/00
Being propelled,
but very slight.
And kissed gently,
by a breeze.
Come Rabbit Ears,
as Helicopter's, in flight.
From standing
adjacent tree's.
Descending
toward earth,
they come each year,
this springtime staple.
In each pod,
the potential birth,
of a soon to be
undesirable Silver Maple.
