Quite fond of summer
The sunlit days of golden hue,
A time when skies were always blue,
Laughter danced on every breeze,
Climbing trees with such great ease.
The scent of summer filled the air,
Feet bare and free without a care,
Hands held tight, the world so wide,
Exploring paths with you by my side.
The glow of dusk, the stars above,
Whispers soft, a gentle love,
In those sweet days, we were free,
That’s my fondest memory.
