Quintessence
The quintessence of yellow quince
Is its sweet taste, subtle perfume.
Heralded as a worthy fruit prince.
A true delight from nature's bloom.
A peach's essence, is blushed red skin,
With every bite, a burst of sun,
Its soft tender flesh, draws us in.
Ruby red kiss for everyone.
The essence of pear, is its grace,
Crisp, and succulent, such delight.
Its artful shape you must embrace!
Its taste lingers on through the night!
Purple plums hanging down as gems.
Their sweetness bursts in purple bloom,
Gathered like red sapphires on stems.
A taste that lingers, like perfume!
The essence of apple is crunch.
Crisp bursts of flavor when you bite.
Crimson and green, a joy to munch,
A symbol of healthy teeth bright!
There you have it, a quintuplet
Of five quintessences beget!
