Quiet Silence

In faded shades of shadows gone. Is where a broken heart lives on. To suffer silent dreams alone. Existing where no love is known. A search beyond what can't be found. A hope that futilely is bound. An endless prayer that's never heard. A conclusive sense that's too absurd. With each new line the past is staged. And written down as if it's caged. How and why never agree. For where and when will never see. It's not the same as story book tales. For some of us when romance fails. The pages turn with no one reading. The story's sad, but no heart's bleeding. Where does the answer lie within. The loser asks, wanting to win. Trying to go back in time. With every phrase of useless rhyme.

My mom was maybe ten or more years younger in that picture and she actually looks about as good today as then. What makes your mom look the same as mine in that picture you mentioned?

Hi, She has kind of similar features and the sunglasses. My mom had dark hair too and she was about 5 ft. Her name is Evelyn. They used to call her heavy Evie. :) She didn't weigh more than 110 ever. She knew everybody and everybody knew her. My dad married her when she already had 5 kids and then they had my sister and I. I asked my dad when I was in my 30's, what the hell were you thinking. :) And he said, She's quite a gal. Thanks Andrea.

Robert :( this makes me feel so sad. I know that many people feel this emptiness at some point in their lives. It's too much. I hope you are ok. Hugs, my friend
