Quiet My Heart

Quiet my heart Lord, humbly I pray
I long to feel Your Spirit today.
Forgive my weakness, strengthen my soul,
As I learn to give You complete control.

Here in this moment, may I be still
Surrender myself to Thy perfect Will
Then when I hear Your still small voice
Listen and follow, will be my choice.

Humbly I praise You, Jesus my King
With heart and soul, with my everything.
You are Creator, Beginning and End,
Shepherd, Redeemer, Marvelous Friend.

Love this spiritual piece. It seems a personal conversation between you and Jesus thereby reflecting the authors beliefs and strengths clearly. The flow seems natural due to the perfect rhyme. Very well written. Michael
