Quiet hours

Silence was an enemy but as the years went on, I felt myself slipping away I was gone. Silence was an enemy now a friend, I find myself afraid of when the silence might end. Silence was an enemy now I embrace it, Silence is where I find myself where I truly fit. Silence was an enemy now I need it to live, To stay in the silence what wouldn't I give?

Thank you so much I try really hard to let emotions show through my words and I'm glad you picked up on those emotions.
