Quickly

They think I can’t hear
As if I don’t have ears
They talk about it all the time now
Every waking moment

Its spread to his whole body now
It’s stage 4
Chemo
Radiation
Lasers

They don’t think I know
That there is a
15%
Survival rate

They don’t think I hear them talk about it
The money
The hospitals
How suddenly it happened
How he could die

But I do
And it makes me think about
Everything

Especially death

And how it can hit someone so quickly

And how in a moment

Everything

Can change.
