Questions Without Answers

If I write a poem as often I do
Here is a question I'm going to ask you.
If it meters and follows a good rhyming scheme
Is it poetry?

If I find a subject that's interesting to me
Can I try and describe it with my poetry?
Is living and loving quite overdone?
Can I still write about a life full of fun?

Does my poetry matter, does anyone care
Whether the rhyming is good, bad or fair?
I care.

I enjoy rhyming and being read
Sharing ideas right out of my head
If that isn't poetry than I am confused
Sad for rejection, my emotions refused.

You're on the job already. Just go for it and do your thinks. I will give it a review for you. I like your use of the hypothetical questioning technique in this one. Your rhyming sequence is also right on point. Great job and welcome to Poetry Soup! ~Joseph
