Another lonely walk down
Another lonely street
I'll silently just stroll along
While dragging my two feet
Why do people do this?
Why don't they understand?
Why am I so lonely
When I know I'm not the only [man]
Another sad wave now
Another sad sad smile
I'll contently nod my head
While I count off one more mile
Why do people do this?
Why won't they go away?
Why do I keep on walking
When I really want to stay?
Another day has passed
Another day has come
I'll quietly keep on walking
While I hum a steady hum
