In order to defend your faith (even if it is Satanism) you must be able to answer these questions.

If God is able and willing to prevent evil, Then why doesn’t He always prevent it? If God is able, but unwilling, to prevent evil, Then doesn’t that make Him complicit to it? If God is willing, but unable, to prevent evil, Then why claim that He is omnipotent? If God is not willing or able to do good or prevent evil, Then, why do people claim He is relevant? If God is just a voyeur to Man’s good and evil, Then why claim His motives are benevolent? If, as you claim, God seems to exist, Then why do these questions seem to persist?

The answers are simpler than you might think Steven. You're not the first to question why God allows suffering/evil. The quick answer is because humans prefer it. Abuse of free will leads to bad choices, both in the material and spirit realm. Suffering/evil will be subdued at Armageddon, then permanently eliminated at the end of Christ's one thousand year reign.

My youngest son is the atheist. These are his questions. i believe in God, but in a Jeffersonian context. Dubbing in previous note from john could be doubting misspelled. i do, however, believe that God helps those who help themselves.
