Sara Kendrick Poet I do not know?

Question

Has anyone ever hear of the expression or slang for wild grapes or wild 
muscadines?  Something like bulletses??I can't find it anywhere and I am sure 
that I am not spelling it correctly...It is what some people in the south call Fox
