Quest

There was a time in quest for gold
The young mind met with mind of old
To end of world, a long lost place
And went up high through nights and days

Where wind blew free on mountain side
His mind booked for ticket to ride
Up the wild road to fantasy
To find his harsh reality

Flicks of fire flew in his mind
There were wild flames of every kind
But the sun's rays in amber glow
Roused his wild blood to make a flow

Foes of all kinds, some big and small
He faced them all and he stood tall
Apart from gold that glows a spark
On earth, he made his greatest mark
