Quarrels

Quarrels

Two
people
disrespect
scornful words fly
freely ripping apart contentious foes.

Wisdom and a bridled tongue forgotten
opponents gained
friendships lost
wrath rules
reign.

A profound perspective on the lack of ability to settle disagreements peacefully. "Debate and Discussion" are far more effective. Great poem, Dane Ann! Much Love, Carolyn
