Pyramids
One word synopsis
Poetic hypothesis
Foundation
on top of it
getting to the heart of it
Building and building
a life worth living
walls and ceiling
blessings with
misgivings
twiddly dinks
of a sphinx
and Nubian
ladies craved
naked cradling
princes as babies
White Jesus framed.
a boy called
first and
middle name.
A king to be
dirty are his feet.
clay for foundation
El Shaddai molded
from shackles, shacks
and hypertension
stop pretending
from a premises
he was owed
something
God had
already given.
Black dignity
redefined from
ancient times
We stood
inline with royalty
and the stars were
named by us.
That house
on the Nile
was architected
by us.
