Put It Out

You think it thrills you, But It’s gonna kill you, Take it from me. Thought I was dead already. Instead of getting loud, Fighting for the small crowd. Kept on hiding behind this cloud. All I could was green, Without the numb becoming mean, Maybe that’s all I need, Get so mad that I go sane, Rip the face from Mary Jane, Now I know who to blame, For a lifetime of doubt, Think it’s time to put it out. Instead of burning the leaf, It’s time for me to breathe. Trying to forget, Eons of regret, Needs to be gas, To burn away the past, My weapon is ink, To make sheeple think, Of memories wasted, Time for us to face this. All I could see was green, Without the numb becoming mean, Maybe that’s all that I need, Get so mad that I go sane, Rip the face from Mary Jane, Now I know who to blame, For a lifetime of doubt, Think it’s time to put it out. Join me, Empty, Fulfill, No pills, Use what, You were given, To wake up, And start livin’, Don’t blow, the smoke, Don’t choke, On hope. Are you full of doubt? Might be time you put it out.
