Push My Life Onward
I am not looking for fame or anything special
Just to play the game and not be artificial
Your love and your name to me it is crucial
For us to be the same would be so beneficial
You might pay to see me or maybe you don’t
If you don’t like me you probably won’t
If you think I don’t care you are so wrong
It’s why I am sitting here writing this song
I want you to see that I am not a bad guy
Just put on my music and give it a try
Some of my music is not very long
Others will say it is way to strong
Once you have heard me if you still do not like
Just say to get away “get away from that mike”
I sing and I sing to see what it brings
When someone dislikes me it really stings
No matter how much you do not like
I will keep on singing it is my life
I write my music for my own pleasure
It is my work I don’t need you to measure
Though fame it has found me
I will never change
But I cannot just roam free
And I find that strange
Now trapped in this world
Of fame and misfortune
I feel I’ve been twirled
And a little bit tortured
I cannot go back
Can only look forward
Got away from the smack
And I push my life onward
