Push

I push you away like a kid swinging back and forth on a swing.
I love you so much but can't stop pushing you away from me.
Why do I push away the people that I love?
For it will only bring me more pain.

I wanna swing back and not go back and forth on a cold day.
So I will stop pushing and won't resist.
For they are trying to help me  not hurt me by letting me jump off the swing.
