Purpose

To not submit to such an earthly greed
But instead render to another who is in need
To not want what was never really yours
For satan has so many of those particular doors

To praise the Lord for He is Good
And He often told you that this you should
And in doing so, respect and honor His Name
As you so often forget when you’re looking to blame

Honor your parents in all that you do
They went through an awful lot to have you
Always keep pure your mind and your heart
And saying a little prayer would be a good start

Lord, I am Your unworthy servant
For whom Your only Son was sent
I give you every word, action and thought
For by the Lamb of God my soul was bought

Many people today don’t have this such purpose
And the whole gift of life they just seem to miss
For they have a purpose that will not last
It’s as if with their own souls they just turn and cast
