Purple Robe

Clothed with purple robe*, Saviour covered my damnation’s anguish Bearing crown of thorns so in pride’s affliction I would not languish Saluted “King of the Jews” only mockers could distinguish Scourged to be crucified for my hell-fire verdict to extinguish.
