Purple

As clouds gather
in
  the
     evening
     we are
           moved
  to
  speak
  of
     the dance
    Can't you see
              that the
                   reality
      which so
             motivated you
  has been
             swept
                    away
       by the four
  winds
       let us breath in
  the pure air of peace
  It's a long trip
    up the mountain

have enjoyed this, it speaks to me of the eternal, within the worlds fluid elements, and i think you have much more to give.

A really lovely poem Matthew. I agree with Nikko here. Even your title hints that this gem might contain a more spiritual message being that the color purple is the color of the crown chakra and of the highest vibration. Yes, I do live in Hawaii and have for the past 30 years. I love the Big Apple. I think our nickname is the Melting Pot. Thanks for your comments. Aloha, Connie

Hi Matt :) I really like how you formatted your poem --looks like it's a winding path up that mountain-- sure lends another aspect to your wonderful write :) Could very well pertain to that dance you speak of in your poem as well -- very nice touch :) -- nikko ;)
