Pure Love

I smelled your scent in the port I saw the city lights While sipping my cheap coffee in the cold A smile fell from my eyes Only then I knew ,time has come for goodbyes I have never wanted to let you go And cut the heart I had I promised to take it real slow Because deep inside I was afraid Here I am now consuming the nature and moving ahead But, I will never forget you for you are my tasty cake You and I are alike Sometimes I can’t compare I can feel your loneliness I am sober and aware At the start of the poem I have never thought this is going to be for you But, I couldn’t stop my hand from writing about a heart that is so true Wherever I might be remember, I will come back for the show
