Pure Happiness

Your body lying next to mine
Oh how it’s been such a long time.
Feeling the warmth of your skin
Do you realize how long it’s been?

Your arms around me wrapped so tight
With the darkness comes no fright.
The scent I smell is oh so sweet
Developing from your intense heat.

Your breathing sooths me into sleep
So comfortable am I, my sleep so deep.
I feel the beating of your heart
Every beat says we should never part.

I awaken from a dream I'm sure
Then realize you are really here.
Pure happiness envelopes me
The man I love is where he should be.
