Pure Devotion To You

Verse I

More than love burning inside,
all that I felt was pure devotion;
even now, after a long year, it refuses to die...
it's a fire that still burns in my lasting passion.

Chorus:

Pure devotion to you...longing for a touch;
pure devotion to you...dreaming of such!

Verse II

What fate has to do with something we cause
to change its course? It makes it hard or even worse,
and more painful for the one with the urge;
I count heartbeats on nights when memories emerge.

Chorus:

Pure devotion to you...longing for a touch;
pure devotion to you...dreaming of such!

Verse III

I could have done more in changing our reality,
drawn you closer more than anybody;
and being aware of the impossibility,
I grew colder to avoid you unbearable misery.

Chorus:

Pure devotion to you...longing for a touch;
pure devotion to you...dreaming of such!

Verse IV

Once a heart is given, a love is sworn forever,
it must be shared with feelings, not stop half way;
and if it must end, let love not bind two together,
because not letting go wounds them all the way.

Ending:

I refuse to love anyone and go on,
always denying that there's no sun!
