Pure

Can't continue to play a fool
Why pretend I don't love you
Confusion as pure as perfection
So why deny I'm complete by your side
When every time I look in your eyes
Its me that’s reminded of real love in it purity
When you told me a title means nothing
But to me it means something
Still I knew you were my soul mate
In the pit of my stomach
So I said I would give us time to grow
Let our love and understanding mold
Because I knew from day one with you I wanted to grow old
Am I stupid for believing in such things
Should I have learned from my past betrayals
Do you wear masks
Only portraying to be
Everything I need
Am I so naive
Does my love make me unable to see
Do you really deceive
Or is this love as pure as it seems
