Punctuation Mark, Lost
i searched everywhere in the room the desktop inside of all desk drawers opened the leaves of books and examined every page and even shook them down to see if a dot falls off but the dot i was looking for was not there and that is why i swept every corner of the room and looked into collected dust in the pan for a dot although i do not know why i have no way to find the dot or may have hidden from me is so important i could not forget it and therefore stepped out from the house carrying a knapsack on my back for the dot would not answer my ardent call or be found in the field in the dale in the meadow on the mountaintop or even by the waters i turned my wandering feet to the gods acre where stones standing as the pillars or laying pillows under moonlight thinking there may will be a dot that some dead man has left before he went
