pumpkin harvest faerie

pumpkin harvest faerie slithered into town
We knew she was there, she is kind of a clown
She made jokes as she inspected the pumpkin patch
We all like her a lot, she is a tough faerie to match

She checks the stems, the Rubenesque shape, the vine
Never a complaint from her, none of us have heard her whine
She checks to make sure the pumpkins have the soil they need
Then she flies off into the air with her unicorn steed
