Pull Me Down
You're pulling me down
Ripped off and broken my once gleaming crown
My fingers are digging deep into the ground
I'm trying to stop you from pulling me down
Innocence is gone
Can't go back again
I try to stop it but my words fall like tears into the ground
Absorbed, lost, and never again found
My walls are prison bars
My soul cries for liberation
You pull me down
But you still want me around
Do you realize you've made us prisoners
We all talk about how we're gonna get out
Getting out
It's all we think about
We talk about the places to go and the things we could do
We'd live in peace without you
Don't realize what you've done
We were like a glass wall and you cracked it
There's too many cracks in the glass wall
We're heading for a crashing fall
We know it's about to shatter but that's gonna have to wait
For now you just pull me down
My fingers try to grip the ground but it's a worthless effort
Cause you're pulling me six feet into the ground
Do what you do
Fight me for no reason at all
Walk away standing tall
Smiling cause you made me fall
