Psycho Santa

Psycho Santa

By Elton Camp

The season Santa Claus does dread
Because he must don that suit of red

Even worse, everywhere he will go
He is expected to give a jolly ho ho

And presents in spades to bestow
To every good kid he does know

Home delivery in just a single night
Is hardly the old elf’s biggest delight

Before he starts the Christmas thing
Santa decided to have a little fling

He made a check of his naughty list
Where he found a shameless miss

In his sleigh, they made a flight
To enjoy a week of pure delight

Then it was back to the usual grind
Santa hopes that nobody will mind

After all, the North Pole’s a boring place
With nothing but a bunch of elves to face

This one is very different from what I usually post. It is meant as an alternative to the many holiday poems that appear at this time of year. I hope it doesn't offend anyone. Elton
