Psychic Seizures
My brain is wired a little different than most..
I have a condition that allows me to be free.
I can float around and see things like I'm a ghost..
It's a condition called Temporal Lobe Epilepsy.
The doctor's call my auras Psychic Seizures..
Because I have insight to things I shouldn't see.
I look just like you and have the same features..
But on knowing, most people get scared and flee.
If only they knew that I've had this from birth..
Though not diagnosed till the age of 27.
I was too scared of judgement of my worth..
I knew something wasn't right when I was 11.
But I kept it to myself out of fear..
I didn't understand what was happening to me.
I couldnt move or talk, with loud ringing in my ear..
I'd float around and my own body I could see.
So how do you tell someone your fears?
They are only going to think that your not all there.
That's why I kept it secret for all these year's..
Because people are ignorant and too afraid to care.
So when I tell you about my condition..
Don't treat me any different, I'm not a freak.
It's a gift with insight and intuition..
My brain just has a little extra tweak.
