Notes About The Poem

Psychedelic Peacock

A peacock who is grounded as he flies,
will freely psychedelicize.
Take notice as you stare.
Slowly become aware.
His tail is a hundred eyes.

Have you called Webster-Merriam yet with that GREAT verb at the end of the second line? Heh-heh.

I'm glad you mentioned that, because I noticed an interesting thing. The spellchecker caught psychedelicize but seemed to think psychedelicized was OK. I learned that word from a 1967 song by the Chambers Brothers called "Time Has Come Today" - lol.
