Psalm 23

In death’s dark vale I am not alone,
As I journey to my eternal home.
One has promised to be ever near
Therefore I should have no fear.

Through this door all must go.
This reality we all undoubtedly know.
Although it is known many doubts prevail
As we every event try to detail.

The greatest fear is of the unknown-
That which we have never been shown.
Before we succumb to this type of fright
Learn to depend on God’s great might.
