Prudence
They say that all things are allowed,
And by this many oaths are vowed.
Some say that alcohol may be drunk,
Some vouch that tobacco is for inhaling;
Bullies believe others' backs are theirs to spank!
But Paul the man of epistles did say
That all are permissible but all don't pay.
Thus we may practice that which is of help,
And all else count as chaff;
For none can of will cast hot charcoal upon their lap!
Prudence calls for each to be wise,
For some evils have perfected their guise.
