Proud of His Brood
Taking care of my kids
Was the biggest of bids
And with all of the fun
I know what was won
Wish I could live on forever
But no-one is that clever
So I will try to hand on
What I’ve learned before gone
In a way we live on
From a light that once shone
And our kids are the portal
That does make us immortal
From a family comes love
That will keep me above
From a place I just rose
I can strike a new pose
Was not sure that I could
But I did what I should
May have at times been wrong
But it sure made me strong
A really good dude
Is proud of his brood
Let expression shine through
To give depression the shoe
I hope that my kids
Yes my greatest of bids
Will be able to show
That all love will just grow
All my children I love
With some help from above
Now with all of my might
I bid you all a good night
