Proud As a Peacock

My son Scottie and me Are like two peas in a pod The word “clone” certainly comes to mind His humour is the same His carefree look at life matches mine There is no mistaking Scottie boy is my son He's also inherited my creative genes Following in his Daddy's footsteps A techie version of his old man Did I mention I'm proud of my Scottie Does a bear poop in the woods Of course I'm proud as a peacock I love this boy! He's now in his late forties But he will always be my boy! © Jack Ellison 2014

He is most definitely a keeper! To explain, I am slowing down a bit... but I think it's only a temporary break in the action! Love ya dear Donna and stay safe from all that ground shaking! Jugs, Jacko XOXOX

I know that sons usually grow up resembling their fathers! I can see your son being a very special man if he's anything like his father! This is an astounding write about your treasured son my friend! I really enjoyed reading this phenomenal poem here this evening! What a grandiose piece, Great Work!!

My son Scottie is an exact replica of this old dude! Damn proud of this "young" whipper snapper!

Hi Jack...like father like son! You have every right to be proud; we are lucky when our children make us proud...it's not always the case, and that's sad...// paul

Know the feeling. My son is going to be great as a nurse! He loves it and gets good grades. And Dragon... well... He's great at blinging out his his bib overalls. So has a few talents... Tho flying isn't his best one. Accidentally took out the mailbox yesterday. He was trying to get in a little practice flying now that spring is here. Those little wings are a bit hard to fly with... especially when he has so much weight... Yep! You Dragon!... OOPS... did I mention he's sensitive too... Gotta run!
