Proposals of the Lonely

I see it consume 
The pain seeps through
It cradles and conceals the best in you
You stand defiant
lonely orchid
wind blows harsh to wreck 
you don't let it...sensitive petals resist
Let me stand and block this gusting assault
 so you never battle elements alone
May I make you laugh on a bad day?
  hold you as you cry on a worse one?
Share in a golden moment....
   Crack jokes over coffee...
       Get deep after 3 cups...rip bad movies, conquer crosswords
               stretching mornings into afternoon
I'll never tell you you're beautiful...I'll state it, because you are
