Promptly Prompting

from dawn
from all day
long tis time
for to dust off

my boots
release my
socks and let
breath my feet

dusk is upon
all of us but
for me i
watch

to no
suprise
you are on
my horizon

with your
moon rise
you raise me
up from a child

to a man
beginning
over again
and so

i am the
stagehand
raising the riser
for you to step higher

then
with wires
pulling you into
my backdrop of a

star lit
sky where
i hold tight and
with awed breath

guide you
through night's
sigh that is mine
but truly all yours

That is a great line. He was a funny guy, up there with Groucho, Rodney Dangerfield and George Carlin.

I see you are auditioning for the next Oh God role. George burns has some competition. I hope you pull all the right strings.

George Burns' best words of truth and wisdom were when he reached 100 years of age. He was asked, "What does your doctor think about you smoking and drinking too much?" Burns replied, "I don't know. He's dead."
