Promises of Pain

As he stepped outa the dark
Left without a mark

Some cheered, some mad
Is he good or bad?

Is he even a man?
Few thought, so they ran

The line can be thin
The story, Oh where to begin

Actually won't waste your time
I'll just tell you another rhyme

Blood dripped from his blade
From the kills he had made

Chewing on a finger
His gaze didn't linger

If it did and on you,
You can bet your through

Fight if you can, Be entertaining
He'll hold you by the feet, As your blood is draining

Skinned alive
None have thrived

Can't kill him he's already dead
I don't even think that's his head

He's been here since the start of time
And he'll stay till the end of this rhyme

He'll eat your heart
At the very start

A wicked, Wicked smile
That lasts all the while

His roar is immense
Sign of the pain to commence

Escape, Yea you should try
Or just lay there and die

Fight that's what you do
GOD has your back, You already knew

Kept trying to figure out which "undead" monster this might be. Seems like Michael Myers and Freddie had many lives, but your words took me to vampires and zombies. Very clever use of suspense!
