Promises

“Promises” If you be the song I’ll be the dance. A love can be born If given the chance. If you be the river I’ll be the sea. That way, my love, You run into me. If I be the windows You be the doors; A house built on love Is a home that endures. If I make you a promise to give this a try, will you make me a promise, to never ever lie? If I give you my all Will you in turn do the same? For this is my heart; this is not a game. For the promises I make are promises I keep. I’m offering my very best So, the very best I seek.
