Progress
The roar of engines fills the air
Faster, louder; they don’t care
Power surging through the ground
I can feel the energy, the sound
The feather and the snowflake fell
The upward and the downward swell
Silently their path through molecules of air
Floating effortlessly they share
Teeming with delight
There is no end in sight
The senses all suggest
It’s further than you think, at best
Artisans galore, they fashion new
Designs come forth from thoughts they brew
Not losing time through false alarms
They build upon the earthly charms
On into chaos the ordered pair would say
Days and nights passing quickly on the way
Time is seeking what you share
Will you go there, will you care?
