Procrastination

Been meaning to call you it's been a little while seems time sneaks away and things began to pile Should clean the dishes doing laundry has yet to begun Keep wanting to post that letter tomorrow everything can get done I know I am a little late taking down the Christmas lights but even on a July evening they are such a pretty sight Need to vacuum the carpets need to change the porch light why is it so easy to let things go and wander why nothing seems right Should post a poem or two need to finish that book from last year It is so easy for excuses not to do than to get up from that lazy boy chair.
