Problems

Pull up a chair, take a seat
Let’s discuss all the problems we see
The racism, sexism, murder, and rape
Education and healthcare, humanities fate
The slow death of dignity, blatant and bare
A society in anguish, angry and scared
No trust for the system that lead us astray
No relief for the victims, we all fell prey
Every dark mental illness that wanders by
Bullet shells and screams from hell as the innocent die
The rest of us carry on, tattered and torn
Minds in the abyss, another dies, another is born
The all consuming technology shines
Anxiety and depression dance at the same time
Held back by the money we just can’t make
Unaware at the time, we’re just wasting life away
So when you love, love hard, you really never know
Just how deep your love can reach into a persons soul
Today's as good as any for society to evolve
Then take a seat and see all the problems we can solve
Love yourself
