Privilege of Prayer

Prayer is the opening Of our hearts to our Maker. As though to a friend, One looks for an answer. Prayer is our conversation With our loving God above. Requests or words of thankfulness For His never-ending love. God will answer every prayer That’s in agreement with his will. No request that we make Comes to a standstill. For our prayers are often answered In other ways than we thought. But we can be sure, they’re answered; There’s no need to be distraught. Prayer is a privilege Of communion with our Father. Because sin has alienated us From God’s inner chamber. Yet we still have the privilege Of speaking to Him each day; Believing that He listens; Answers, in his own special way. I enjoyed this poem very much. A good and thoughtful write. We must be careful when we pray> Be careful for what you pray for. Have a blessed day, Jancarl
