Pristine Landscape

Situations come our way where we don't understand what to say we sit in silence in our mind and the words we can't seem to find Some days we find it smooth to spill our thoughts and soothe to do this is when I find myself again Today is a quiet one it's been that way since it begun I find it challenging to write my lyric that may sound satiric I'll rest tonight in deep escape and tomorrow twill be a pristine landscape

I have learned to take each day as it comes, Angela, and try not to worry about tomorrow; maybe it's one of the benefits of old age :) Regards // paul

I'm trying to learn to take one day at a time. Some days I do okay. Other days, not so much :)

Very smoothly written. Your poems are better every second.

We all face a storm and it's how we deal with it that counts... Some become stronger in adversity, some fall apart... Great message of hope in your sonnet ..

We often end up on a barren landscape not knowing what's up ahead but better days are coming with mountains, streams and flowers in abundance. We just have to learn patience. Tom

First off, I'm a big lover of the word 'pristine', happy to see it used in your title and final line. Secondly, loved your rhymes, especially smooth/soothe and lyric/satiric. Thirdly, the wisdom of finding rest and hoping for better tomorrows. Well done.
