Prisoner To Pride

Prisoner To Pride

This is my life and I am in control,
who needs submission when I already have it all.

Why would God bless me, with all these things.
Just look around you, I'm living like a King.

Who needs to repent, confess or obey?
I have more than I need, and I don't even pray.

Now God had been listening to this ungrateful display.
and took all that he owned, and locked it all away.

Then God said to him, "your a prisoner to your pride".
When humility finds it's place, deep inside your heart
it will free you from all the sin that festers from inside.

Wayne, nothing removes conceit like a walk through a cemetery.

Amen carlos, being purged of your pride is painful for those who take what the Lord does for them and ignores it.
