Prison Sky

last night he staggered and spoke through the pall of cigarette smoke; frightened guests and touchy gamblers called the cops after the bouncers; handcuffed, he looked out the window of the police car wailing to go; watched the night sceneries flash by through one swollen, unseeing eye; now the pale fingers of sunbeam slowly limn his morning daydream, but a spider web of twigs mars his view of the sky through prison bars!
