Prism
Coming out of the fog
Which has been my life for a while
Learning once again to smile
The lessons I have learned
Have been hard it’s true
It hasn’t been easy
To forget about you
Discovering the prism inside of me
Which reflects my light from within
Finding the strength of a diamond inside of me
Not hard as a rock or steel
But layers which will need to be peeled
So with caution I will proceed
I find it is not you that I need
Yearning to feel the joy of love again
Ready to begin again
The moon it shines
On a star filled night
Yet it is my heart
Overflowing with love and light
