Prints

These are the prints
As the others did
Of their traces left
While they trampled my heart
These are the prints
Like those I left
When I tried to start
Fresh and scar other hearts
These are the prints
As the steps that you have taken to repair my soul
These are the prints
As the way that you walked in and saved my world
Handprints in the colours of prints
Painting in colourless
Tracks of rainbows
In prints of sand
They leave a path to my heart
Take the fingerprints in ink prints
Lines to colour in your love in
Blood stains
Now prints the true spots
In the exterior edge of paths of rainbows
As now you have thrown together
My two broken halves created
As us apart
But we are two broken parts of the same sun
Our hearts beat the same one
