Prima Ballerina

prima ballerina
    expressive arms
  interlocking curves
    the pose of two swans

  her foot softly supple
    arched so long
  pink flamingo
    toe stance on

  Pirouettes 'round and round
    her leading man
  leaps lithe and lovely
    as only grace can

Ballet is so enjoyable to watch, and your description of the ballerina is pleasurable reading, Gershon. :)

Good one, Gershon. With a few words, you captured the beauty of a ballerina. Ballet is beautiful. Males, included. Like, Nureyev! Pangie xx

like, Nureyev... like Baryshnikov too... Nureyev was my favorite. I saw him perform live in Urbana, IL in 1973, just before he defected. I could swear that he leaped across the width of the stage in one bound. Like a deer, he was. Amazing!! Thanks, Pangie. Smiles, Gershon

I think you meant graceful, not graveful. But thanks for the chuckle, my friend! ~ Seriously...
