Pride

I would not mind soaking my heart wet In the ocean of tears I am yet to meet. I would not mind sucking my thoughts dry At the horizon of my charm. For the thousand times I showed up And you are not even trying to meet me half way. Call it pride, But this is me exiting. And I would not mind freezing my heart cold Carry this pride on And embrace it like a fine neck piece, Until you reach out.
